Crowflight: "Uh. Sometimes... I doubt that you ever loved my mother. And, sometimes, I... kind of wonder if I was a mistake to you. It's okay if I am! At least mother loved me... You don't have to speak to me either. I know you're with Silverstar now and that's fine because I love and respect her very much, but don't expect me to act as much of a son toward you. I'm so through with it! The hostile glares, the ignorance, the way you treat me like the scum of the Clan. Well guess what 'dad'? I'm not scum, I'm your son! I dread ever having to even look at you in camp, and I cannot tell you how sick it made me to see you just accept that Pantherlily was pregnant with Crinkle's kits! I tried to impress you when you took me, Doepaw, Pebblepaw, Falconpaw and Applepaw out training but that just ended in the monster exploding out of me and me almost drowning. You didn't do anything though, you stood there and watched me and Applepaw almost die! Is that what you want? Me dead!? You even missed my warrior ceremony... I just want to make you proud and I missed my chances. You came to me after my warrior ceremony when Doeskip and Pebblesplash were trying to make me break silence. You stopped them and congratulated me on becoming a warrior. I have to say I was honoured to have that much recognition from you. But then you sat down and we actually had a proper conversation. You tell me you're proud of me and that I'll make a great warrior. And then you spoke to me as if I were a close friend, telling me of how Silverstar may be expecting another litter... we joked about that. And then you suggested we talk again sometime, just you and me. I like the sound of that, I like it a lot. But I still don't get why you never spoke to me before. "Is it bad of me to say I'm actually relieved you're gone?"
Pantherlily: "I have yet to meet you but I know you exist. I don't get it! How comes daddy still loves you more than me, when you're expecting kits from a loner!? That's against the warrior code! Yet he's still 'proud' of you! I don't get it. How do you get so much recognition from him? Oh yeah, that's because you're the daughter of Petaldust and everyone knows she was his favourite!" On lighter notes I'm glad you're looking after her, We'll have to meet some time. You're my half brother after all..'' "How dare you just leave Doeskip like that, with your kits and struggling. Silverstar: "You're the leader! I respect you very much Silverstar! When I'm older I want to be big, brave and strong just like you! You're also my step-mom. Cool! I have yet to meet you properly though, however I do admire your actions and I'm proud to be a member of ThunderClan whilst you reign! I feel sorry for you Silverstar. It's hard for you, I know that. What with all these Black flies around, and Aspenheart being a problem, and you expecting another litter... Just know I put all my trust in your decisions, and will stand by you until the very end. Not only that, but you're my step-mother. I do trust you with the reign of this Clan. I love you mom." "Every great leaders reign must come to an end. Doeskip: "You're so cute! I will admit I was rude to have almost called you a Mousebrain but what can I say? It was late and I was grouchy for some reason! We made up though and that's good. You seem really open toward me and I hope it can stay that way, I don't care if you're a kit we can still be good friends! Look at you now aye? You're all grown up, and you've got the sass to go with it. You never fail to make me giggle either, no matter how many times you mock and tease me. I can't wait until I'm a warrior though, I'm going to take you out training when Aspenheart is busy! Oh this is going to be so much fun Doepaw! I feel as if we're becoming closer by the day, and I think as you as my sister. I'm going to protect you through thick and thin now I am a warrior, just as I am going to protect the Clan. I'm sorry I let you fall earlier down at WindClan's border, I shouldn't have let that happen, but It's an amusing memory to have keep as it was in my last hours as an apprentice. Still, I'm going to protect you as you protect Pebblepaw. Wow ok, Doeskip. I'm slightly surprised Silverstar never named you Doelegs! That would have been amazing! Oh well. We're both warriors now, y'know what that means? Exploration! Yes! With my curiosity, your guts to do anything and Pebblesplash's intelligence... we'd make a great team for that! But I'm not going to let you get hurt In anyway, neither Pebblesplash, even if you did try to mess up my vigil. I should have done the same back for sweet revenge, but I didn't. You're lucky... I shouldn't have walked off before you went hunting with Batflight! I'm sorry, Doeskip! But you did know that I don't exactly favour any of my half-siblings. You've got to learn that every cat makes mistakes, and you have to learn to forgive and forget. You made it sound like you hurting your paw was my fault. Pebblesplash: "I only just met you, but you're a pretty decent cat I suppose. We only met down at the creek through Doepaw, but you have good humour and I admire that. Although you seem very shy and reserved, speak to me more often won't you? I'm sure me, you and Doepaw could become quite good friends! I believe I trust you enough now and know you enough now to call you one of my closest friends. Not only that, but Doepaw seems very fond of you, like she is of me. I have already sworn I will protect Doepaw but that doesn't mean I won't be there for you too dear Pebblepaw. I also appreciate you helping Applepaw down at the training hollow after the spar, but I think it should have been me doing that, not you. I also think mine, Doepaw's and yours' hate for Falconpaw has brought us closer together. Don't worry, I'll make sure I tell Silverstar or Hawkscreech to watch her. Doepaw seems to be very fond of you as well, and I can tell she admires you greatly. You have a good heart too, which I can see, especially when you took us down to the pond where Blackbuck's body was found. You really miss him, and Hawkscreech had to comfort you. Although you scolded me, I can't say I don't like you, Aspenheart. You... you... why did you say that to Silverstar? And then leave Whitepool? That's just harsh. You've changed Aspenheart, it's like you're a whole other cat. I don't like that, and at the moment, I refuse to say I'm proud to call you my step-brother. You need to stop ruling over Silverstar's life just because she's your mother and understand that taking the kits off of yours and Whitepool's paws was the best possible option." "Where'd you go?"

I was just concerned, for it was so young and it's eyes looked recently open. Was it a kit of Pantherlily's? Because no other queen in ThunderClan has birthed in quite some time. Oh. So the kit is yours and Aspenheart's... I knew something seemed suspicious about the way you snapped at me. Although I do feel extremely sorry for you, Whitepool... I heard what Aspenheart said before he stormed of your den. I hear you're now looking for a medicine-cat apprentice also? Good. It would seem you desperately need one. I hope the future is brighter for you Whitepool, you deserve much better." "I hope StarClan is taking good care of you.."
